allow me to rephrase myself. A protest took place regarding Our involvement in Vietnam and the riiot police shot and killed several students.

Oh, it wasn't even the police. The Governor called out the National Guard. And they were already jumpy from other violent protests they'd quelled days before. It was a recipe for disaster.
