I have not, so far, watched a single episode of Torchwood. I loved Captain Jack in the Dr Who episodes, but the commercials for the Torchwood series just didn't convince me that it was worth watching. However, several friends have watched it and loved it, so now I'm willing to give it a try.
Verrry different, but a lot of fun. I actually started with Torchwood, and that brought me to the new Who. Back to Who. Whichever. It's meant for a more adult audience, as it was a "post-watershed" spin-off. And it's an ensemble show, too, which is interesting.
