I shouldn't have done this, but I did. There's one idiot who mouths off on the Wench board that I. Cannot. Stand. This time, it was Te Ebil Islam! Such ignorance and racism is staggering. And we allow it because it's "okay." Just like it was okay to say such things about "the evil Huns" in WWI. I couldn't keep my mouth shut any more.

Every single time someone on this board says, "Those fucking Christians are CRAZY. They HATE EVERYONE," there is screaming to high heaven.

Just like there are Christians who give Christianity a horrible, inexplicable name-- Fred Phelps, Pat Robertson-- there are people, even countries, who give Islam a bad name. We probably all know Muslims that we deal with every day and who've never tried to hurt us in any way. Has there been some sudden influx of US attacks from the Phillipines? It's a country of Muslims. Did I miss something? To imply that every Muslim is a Western-hating, psychotic suicide bomber is not only ludicrous, it's horrifically racist. It's vile.

The rioters in Sudan are the problem. The people who hate the West are, in this case, the problem. Those who adhere to a strict, merciless interpretation of Sharia law are the problem. Radicalism is the problem. Islam is NOT the problem.

It's fucking vile. I'm just flat-out enraged by it. If it said "Jews" or "Christians," he'd be out on his ass instantly. Why is it okay if it's Muslims?

I'd just like to know how the "statistic" is being calculated? Is it just acts terrorist groups take claim for? is it acts that are attributed to extremist groups but have no actual evidence?

i don't even want to go to the site to find out, actually. i don't want to give them the impression that i care what they're saying, instead of what i actually am, which is curious what right-wing nutjob group is behind it.

Oh, you know he believes it. Absolutely and without question. He's a bully. I can thoroughly picture him saying "The only good Muslim is a dead muslim," if he were in the "right" company.
