Apr. 1st, 2007 05:46 amHas anyone ever used a produce delivery service? Or even a grocery delivery service? It's been suggested I eat more organic fruits and veggies, and my main problem is I buy them, subconsciously think, "Well, if I don't use them, I don't have to buy more," and never use them. I'm thinking if I have a steady source, I'd you know, EAT THEM.
http://www.suburbanorganics.com/ looks good. As does http://www.doortodoororganics.com/ . Anyone have any input?

Date: 2007-04-01 02:34 pm (UTC)She's only had two issues with it, neither of which is a deal-breaker for her.
1. She's very picky about meat cuts (size, fattiness, etc.) and she doesn't always like what they chose.
2. You can specify whether you are willing to accept a substitution if something is out, and she says that very rarely they will pick an odd, seemingly unrelated substitution item.
On the plus side, though. She said the produce is always great and if they ever make a mistake or a problem, they are quick about sending the driver to correct it.
