I did a problem with my geometry class last year which focused, mainly, on the differing speeds of a 45, if you're sitting near the center of the record versus on the edge. They looked at my all confused. I need to look up the speed of a CD, though I fear it'll be too fast to make the point so obvious.

This has been my favorite carol ever since it sinuously wound itself into my ears back in '87! I had the cassette, then the CD--both of which have sadly gone missing this season, and I was sad to have a Christmas without this song.
