Proverbs 14:10: Each heart knows its own bitterness and no one else can share its joy.
I ran across this somewhere the other day and had to go look it up to verify it's accuracy. It's accurate, and if we're to believe this is the Word of G-d, and not just the Word of Some Inane Priest, then after this bit, I'm left wondering what the bloody point is of all this?
Yes, yes, it's heathen of me to say so. But I think G-d knows that if He strikes me with lightning, He'll have to answer my questions that much sooner. ;)
