You asked me months ago a certain question: if my religion doesn't give me the plan of what happens to us after we die, what use is it?

My answer, finally, is this: it doesn't tell us about what happens when we're dead because it's more concerned with what we do while we're alive.

Reading your posts lately, though, I think it's sometimes a hard tradeoff. I wish you comfort.

Exactly. We're told that the way we 'live on' after we die is to live a good and charitable life so that people speak well of us after we die. We 'live on' because we are actively remembered well by others.
