Damn the cat.
Jan. 23rd, 2010 11:39 pmMarble spent the last two days or so being...not terribly hungry. I thought it was perhaps because I'd switched the cat food again, and she was eating more of it. But I've done that before, and they've never so much as blinked. She was begging for tuna, but not finishing it. And I think she may have thrown up this morning, but I'm not sure, and I didn't find it. Eurgh. But she wasn't hiding under furniture, she wasn't refusing all food. She was just...subdued.
She's fine now. She climbed up the dishwasher to get to the tuna I was parceling out for her. She set a new landspeed record in clearing her plate. She then went to the cat food bowl, and shouldered Tekiah out of the way for her second course.
Still, some days, it's hard. I wonder. I try not to listen to the tick-tick-tick. I just hug her a lot, and hope she understands how much I love her.
