It's the weirdest thing in the world when I somehow get the nod as the IT girl for my store. Not that I know more than anyone, it's that they all know LESS. What's even MORE frightening is that somehow, despite myself, I got my DM's wireless router working at her house. Her boyfriend spent ten hours trying to do so yesterday. I spent about ten minutes. Of course, I'll go back tomorrow, and it'll all be one huge bucket of fail, but hey, it worked today. The project is putting together CDs of interesting music for all twelve of our stores. I'm doing my damndest to slip some VNV or decent Celtic in there somewhere.

At the moment, my apartment is littered with softly heaving piles of fur that purport to be three cats and a dog. It's definitely sleepy time. Probably for me, too.

The credit card processing company that strung me along for a fucking week and a half finally denied me. I was on the phone instantly with another company. I just want this shit over so I can run my sales.

Watched through to the end of Series Two today with Galia. We both cried. Poor Rose. Poor Doctor.

Artemesia is working on her fabulous get-up for RenPunk Day of Wrong on Labor Day Monday. It was my damned idea, and now not only do I have nothing to wear, I don't even know if I can be there. No, I'm not mad at the cat-- just at life.

I'm dreading Friday. I am terrified that even the cautious hope I do have will be unfounded, and consequently crushed.

I'm at an impasse in my novel yet again. I keep thinking I'm getting too far from coherence in my plot conflict. Christ. And that's the thing that's supposed to be keeping me happy.

I have no experience in writing, but I know that the screenplays/novels that bounce around my head change weekly. I suspect it's normal, and the above article seems to confirm it:)
