I have nowhere to store works-in-progress. Nowhere the cats can't get to. The cats aren't so much dirty as shed-y, and though it hasn't come up yet, it's inevitable that I'm going to have a bride at some point who's highly allergic to cats. That's gonna suck.

Well, I'm set to leave by June 1, so if anyone wants to come help me start packing-- and throwing away copious amounts of crap, I'd imagine-- I'm up for all the help I can get, and soon. I'll buy pizza and drinks. Just say when.

it's ok, I'll put it through detox :p
I shall make Matt attack it with a sticky
lint roller. Maybe hide it in clue's bed.
I'm not allergic to dogs ^_~

Well, I never let the cats onto my fabric. Fear not. But I'm determined the new place will be more controlled. I'm hoping for hardwood floors, at least. But I'll take what I can get.

Yea, all of your highly allergic friends are jumping for joy!

That said, I am here to help with your major moving project! Let me know when you want to start (or if you want Kate to get you some pharmacy tots to pack things in).

June 1? Did I miss you having a new place already or is that just when your current lease expires?

That's the soonest I can get out of here. No, no new place yet. But I'll be working on that, too!

No ability to help you pack and organize (I'm a craptastic schlepper, but I'm fantastic at throwing away other people's stuff), but I offer you this:

Remember our day in Highgate? :)

I do! And wasn't that the day you saw snow for the first time?

Nah, that was when we were tromping around Alton and Chawton looking at Jane Austen's house.

Did you know that the fantastic manor house we looked at has been bought and turned into a center for research on women writers from 1600s-1800s? http://www.chawton.org/

Sweet mother! That's AWESOME!

Oh, man, I remember standing in that doorway. What an amazing day that was. I wish I still had the photos.

Oh, it gets better -- the woman who bought the lease and turned the house into a library is the same woman who founded Urban Decay.

Goth. And Jane Austen. Together at last.

I do have some of the photos around here -- my mom cleaned out her house and dumped all the stuff I'd been leaving there back in my lap. Me and the scanner have a date, because I have some excellent pics of you.
