I don't know why I suddenly feel compelled to state this, but just so you all know: Shirley Temple, precocious child star, is still alive.

I suppose I thought she must have died ages ago, but no. Shirley Temple Black is 80 years old and doing quite well. As recently at 1992, she was U.S. Ambassador to Czechoslovakia. You go, girl.

That...is quite good to know =D Thanks! Interestingly, we were just talking about her the other day. Couldn't remember where she'd been ambassador, but that she'd done a really kickass job.
