Clue's Big Day.

Someone went to the dentist today. Well, the vet, but it was a dental visit. Me? Nervous wreck. Her? No clue. Lunch at the Marathon Grill with the fabulous jenny_fur was a welcome distraction, but when they called to tell me I could pick her up early-- the dog, not Jen-- I was off like a rocket.

She wasn't groggy. Just very, very tired. I brought her home, we walked up the stairs, went into my bedroom, I suggested she hop up on the bed, and voila: instant fur pillow. The above was taken, quite literally, about three minutes after we walked in.

She's still a little off, so I'll be watching her and hanging out with her this evening while I finish a corset. Poor baby. But at least her teeth are clean!

She's not at the groggy stage-- never really was-- just reeeeally tired. All she wants to do is sleep, poor thing.

She is! She didn't move off the bed for five hours. Now it's the couch, I think.

I dread taking Mouse to the vet. I'm always a spaz. I'm screwed if I have kids. They'll have to sedate me in the waiting room.

Same here. I trust my fabulous vet, but man...this was her first time under sedation. I wouldn't have minded some of it myself.

Awww...poor pupster. It's a necessary evil. Now we just need to teach her to gargle. *giggles*
