Aaaaaaand...thunk.
Jan. 9th, 2009 06:36 pmSo they're here-- they got diverted to Paris, for heaven's sake, where they had to sit on the tarmac for four hours. But all is now well. We went to The Patisserie-- the cafe with the big Illy sign where I ate so often last trip. I had the lamb lasagna again. Mmm.
We're all stupid-exhausted. Corey is a bit buzzed from the free bottle of champagne someone gave him on the flight. So we're gonna zonk soon, then start afresh tomorrow!

Date: 2009-01-09 08:09 pm (UTC)If you get to Oxford stree and Selfridges, please eat a Square Pie for me... that is my absolute favorite food of all the things I ate in London. Chicken Curry is the best... but you can leave out the mushy peas.
Also, Rock and Sole has fabulous fish and chips. The place doens't look like much but the food is wonderful. (must have curry sauce for the chips) All I remember is that it is near Covent Garden, which is really helpful, but they do ahve a website. :)
Can't wait to see pictures so I can live vicariously through you. :)
Have a blast!!!
