Oct. 8th, 2004 09:30 pm"If Missouri were a country, it'd be the third-largest country in the coalition."
Yay, nifty sound-bites. Cos, I mean, yeah, yay! We have England and Poland standing with us! Woo!
ETA 1: Hey, FUCK you! I'M a liberal!
ETA 2:
"Mr. President, how do you rate yourself as an environmentalist?"
"I suck!"
Come on, John, knock this one out of the park.
ETA 3: A strict interpretation of the Constitution allows mention of G-d in public schools?
ETA 4: I'm hearing just a faint echo of Jed Bartlett here-- the Catholic who personally opposes abortion, but doesn't think Government has the right to legislate the issue for others.
ETA 5: "What three decisions do you think were wrong?" Didn't this show up in a Doonesbury a few weeks ago? And once again, the President answers the question he wishes he was asked, not the question he actually was asked.
And I'm so glad he "doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings on national TV."
