Girly bits. You've been warned.

I just had the most intense, concentrated half-hour or so of cramps I've ever had. Half an hour of feeling like I was being scooped out with an industrial drill bit/corkscrew. I now feel wrung out and completely floppy. Tired, and half-dead. I wanted to get much further on a corset that needs to go out, but I've gotten as far as full pinned assembly. I got the loops on, everything's pinned, and it's all ready to go tomorrow.

But me? I'm dead. The pain's gone, but so is my brain.

Where are you in your cycle? Ovulation can produce cramps like that from time to time, especially if you're starting to develop fibroids or "at that certain age". Not menopause, but that mid-30 age where half of ones hormones decide to take a little nap. If it happens again in two months, you might want to talk to your ladyparts doctor.
Warm castor oil packs can work wonders.

Oh, I have PCOS. I'm already on metformin, so this is better than it has been, trust me. Last night was literally bits of my endometrium saying, "Fuck you, bitch! We're outta here!" It was...kinda gross.

On the other hand, I have a feeling my period will be over somewhat quicker now.

Yeah, been there, done that, only without drugs. Menopause was a major relief.
