Dear Sprint:

Your fucking tech doesn't know how to do a hard reset on a Treo 755p? Really? Took me, according to Google, 0.29 seconds to find that information online. So fuck you, never mind, I did the fucking thing myself. I've lost all my texts, all my AOL mail, but at least my phone should stop crashing now.

G-d help us all if it doesn't.

No fucking love At. All.

Next time, if you can, sync first. Can't you restore from an earlier backup/sync so you can at least have some of the stuff back?

Never mind -- just read your earlier post. Damn LJ and its reverse chronological listings!

I have my games, my contacts, my birthdays-- and the all-important PalmaSutra, which is exactly what you think it is. The rest...well...dammit.

Darling, where can one get memory for an iMac g3? 333mhz, tray-loading, so really, only one model-type of those. It's almost 9 years old now, but it was free, so my friend took it, but it's too limited-- 96 megs!-- to get onto the 'net. OWC seems to be SOL. Any ideas?

I don't know if you can edit them prior to syncing, maybe to eliminate the problem child? I've never had to sync a Windows Mobile phone -- that's why I kept to Palm OS.

Specs on the computer at http://lowendmac.com/imacs/rev-d-imac-g3-333-mhz.html

"RAM: 32 MB, expandable to 384 MB using SO-DIMM SDRAM (3.3V, unbuffered, 64-bit, 144-pin, 100 MHz or faster, 10ns) in two DIMM sockets (256 MB on top, 128 MB on bottom), top DIMM socket accepts 2" DIMM, bottom socket takes 1.5" DIMM
* The exact amount a Rev. A-D iMac can be upgraded varies from unit to unit. We have field reports of some models accepting 256 MB modules in both memory socket and reaching 512 MB - and other reports of early iMacs that won't work at all with 256 MB modules. There appears to be no way to know in advance whether a particular iMac will work with a certain sized memory module."

I found memory at OWC: http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/apple/memory/iMac/G3_233MHz_266MHz_333MHz

So you should definitely be able to take it up to 384 MB of RAM, possibly 512 MB. Still kind of small, but much more than 96 MB!

Heh. He's right-- go to that last link, and go from there. We WILL get you online. So help me G-d.

I think you're going to need two modules, and one of them will have to be low-profile. That's what the "one is 2" and one is 1.5" " bit is about in the product description. I'm not entirely sure cos I don't know where, exactly, the memory modules are inside that thing, but I'm taking a wild guess one needs to be shorter because of how the case is curved. At any rate, these guys at OWC are VERY nice, and they'll help you out.

Very good translation. If I had known it was for someone else, I might have said it differently.

And the translation wasn't into "stupid girl" -- it was from "techno geek" into English. ^.^

Bless you.

And you don't seriously think I'm running something with Windows Mobile, do you? Come on...seriously?!

I thought the later Palm phones were WinMo only. My mistake.
