Treo. Number. Eight.

I will be calling in the morning. I got a very nice Sprint rep who gave me a $50 credit and told me yes, her Treo, too, cycles on and off for no reason, which is why they're discontinuing the model. You cannot imagine the cursing. Really, you can't.

And yes, my contract is up in March.

I hope that means that in March, you will be leaving Sprint forever and going to a different carrier. Yes?

I was going to say... why don't you replace it with a different model? I mean obviously they are prone to be lemons.... :P

Cos sadly, it's the Treo that does everything I want. I want a physical keyboard. I want full net access, business email, all the stuff a smartphone does.

But it'll be an iPhone in March, I'm thinking.

Here's to hoping AT&T, in Philly, has much better reception, less dropped calls, and better service than in Ohio.

I have a $50 virgin mobile phone. It's got a camera, bluetooth, internet capability. I pay by the minute, but they have an annual contract thingy, too. It might be worth checking in to.
The only problem with it is that the carrier is assigned to you. When I had a Trakphone back in PA, they always assigned me to Cingular, which had no coverage in my neighborhood, so that could be an issue for you.
You'd think that if they know there is a problem with that particular model they'd give their clients something ELSE instead of just a new broken phone.

Problem is, I do need a smartphone. I use it constantly, and for business, as well.

It'll be ATT in the Spring, I guess.

I know you are an Apple person but please think about the big red V. I'll let you know what we have. There are a bunch of new ones coming out that are wonderful. Also, if you work (said with ironic emphasis) for Knightly, you get a discount. A little one to be sure, but a discount nonetheless.

The new Blackberry Storm might work for you. And Verizon is pretty reliable even out here in the canyon lands.
