Cos apparently, this week wasn't sucky enough.

It seems the giant cosmic "hit me" sign on my car isn't actually on the car-- it's on me.

Bev came to pick me up this morning to go to Linvilla. That was great! Except that as we were turning onto Bartram Ave, she stopped to let traffic go past. The guy behind us? The one in the big-ass Trailblazer, pulling a freakin' U-Haul? Not so much.

Bev's rear bumper is toast, but it's a Jeep Cherokee, so beyond that, not much to report. My head was turned at the time, so I had a headache for an hour or so. Other than that, I'm just immensely, wryly amused. Not that there was an accident, just...as it was actually happening, while the thump was actually shaking the car, I was thinking, "Oh, what-- again with this shit?"

On the other hand, however, I did get to see freyas_fire, and I bought pie. Lots of pie.




The other half of our store at the airport is opening tomorrow, and Lauren's asked me to come in at 8.30am. I laughed at her, but did say I'd try. So off I go to walk the dog and hit bed.
