So I just bought almost $200's worth of boning, including the replacement busk for you, Fallon. I'll have the other spiral steel for Soul Stealer, too, Rho. It feels like I've never yet called Delicious Corsets without there being some kind of problem with my order: usually, it's that my card's declined for no earthly reason. This time, their computer ate my information just as I was finishing my order. Rah! Ironically, I think they use Macs over there. Sniff. But they're such nice folks. Soon, though, I'm going to need to ramp up, redo my own site (www.MayFaireMoon.com), get my tax ID number, and start getting my supplies wholesale. Soon, my precious, soon.
Today is strictly for me. It's my first day wholly off in what feels like months. I'm going to clean my apartment just a little, and watch "Love Actually," which, in my current Well of Bitterness, is probably not a good idea. Oh, well. Did I but have a place from which to order in sushi, life would be perfect. Alas.
It was a very weird weekend for me, but I'm going to miss this show so much, as usual. This off-season, however, we'll be more organised. I'd like to see more events happen, which is why I'm thrilled we'll have an Events Coordinator. I so need a new job, I really do. But I WILL get down to The Witch's Hat this year, dammit! If it kills me! And the sight of all that chocolate just might....
I wish I could shake this cloud. After all the sleep, it's much lighter today. I just can't believe it followed me to faire this weekend. Fie upon it!
I am both dreading final weekend and almost too excited about it. What on earth will I wear?
