Date The Second

...went very well. We wound up at Lovash on South Street. Many of the reviews mention how nice the owner is: that's the understatement of the year. I was there once, over six months ago at least, and he remembered me. He's wonderful. He'll give you a full tutorial on the food if you need it, and he's charming and delightfully friendly, without hovering.

And the food? Divine.

The company wasn't bad, either. We shall see.



Oh, and it would have been much better had I not ended the evening with a stabbing, towering headache. But that's life and all.

Oh, you must! It was absolutely lovely, and seriously, you couldn't ask for a more gracious, informative host. And they spice everything to order, so you needn't worry about things being too hot or too mild.

I had a lamb dish I cannot pronounce, and though some of the lamb had a bit of chewy in it, the dish as a whole was spectacular. And oh, don't get me started on the naan. Swoon!
