Yes, Alice, I voted!
I'm very excited. I'm very nervous. Thankfully, I'm also very, very busy-- frantically so.
It took me all of ten minutes to vote this morning. My only disappointment was that they were out of salted Philly pretzels. Apparently, the lobby was full of an endless, snaking line early this morning. But by the time I got there, about 10.30, my Dad and I were golden. I was, I believe, 378 or so. At the Primaries, I voted mid-afternoon and was about 145. I said this morning that the second-biggest story for today will be voter turnout.
I'm watching the Daily Show/Colbert Report marathon. The crawl across the bottom of the screen is hysterical. It certainly distracts me from this corset I...must make. Oh, there will be pictures of this one. G-d help me.
