There are horrible stories in the news: Jennifer Hudson's family murders, and Anne Pressly, the Arkansas anchorwoman beaten to death in her own bed. They're not more or less horrible because they happened to famous people. They're just horrible. Incomprehensibly horrible, and I mean in the literal sense of filling with fear and dread. I live on a planet with people who would do such things?

Fortunately, I also live on a planet with other people: Aaron Sorkin, my family and friends, Barack Obama, David Tennant, the people who make Yorkie bars, Robin McKinley.

The city council has been hinting that they'd found "something really cool" to do with one of the hangars out there. I guess now I know what it is.
