I should have mentioned.
Sep. 12th, 2008 12:14 pmI bought
morriganswitch's ticket for A Midsummer Night's Dream this morning, cos she couldn't get through. Neither could I-- on the phone, that is-- so I finally went through the website I thought was for the Novello Theatre itself. To my immense surprise, they listed a ticket for closing night of Hamlet. For a mere £330. Thank you, but no. The RSC's site directed me to a far more reasonable site, listing proper ticket prices for Dream. I didn't bother to look for Hamlet-- apparently, every last ticket that went on sale to the general public sold out this morning.
I'm jealous, though. I got her a better seat for Dream than I have. She's row 14, dead center. I'm row 3, but by the wall. Still, I'll get to see the costumes close-up! And perhaps, if we're lucky, we can queue for a ticket for Hamlet for her!
