Yay! We're not all dead!
Sep. 10th, 2008 10:54 amI have to admit, reading this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Large_Hadron_Collider made me very sad. Not because I gnash my teeth at the expense, or shake my fist at evil scientists who care not that they may destroy the planet, or, well, anything like that. Not at all: I fully support the project. It's because this article is written in words a fifth-grader could understand, and I FEEL LIKE AN IDIOT.
Sigh. Good thing I'm not a physicist. I'd be a total waste.
Also? Check out Google's homepage today.
