 Another day I didn't get done as much as I'd like. I did get a corset ripped apart and put back together. I cut a deep ruby red skirt that wound up being much fuller than I thought it would be, and has actually made me drool. It's now hanging, as it optimally should for 24 hours before being hemmed. Don't have quite that much time, but it'll be enough.

Tomorrow, I'm going to go as far as I can with a toile of a new coat for Carl of Empty Hats. Annoyingly, he didn't call, so I can't address what his problems are with the one he has. It's obvious where it needs a little pattern adjustment, but it'd've helpful to actually ASK. It felt a bit weird to be driving home with the thing in my car last weekend-- Carl was one of the first people I ever knew in the faire world, and that was...Jesus...twenty-one years ago. I was such a renrat back then, and now I'm a business owner. Somewhere, I think, I thought I'd just fade out of this world; give it up one day with regret. I was actually, once, working up a stage act with two friends of mine. The idea fizzled in part because the two of them thought I'd never be able to actually follow through. Mmhm. Who's still here, then?

I've been tired all day. Now it's 3am and I'm not sure if I can sleep.
