Oh, I won't deny it makes the Dems look like idiots. This is SO not what we need. But still...dude. Way to make your wife look like a fool to the world.
Particularly your wife who has cancer. Yeah, she was in remission (or so I gleaned from NPR this afternoon), WTFever.
But then, I am NOT ON with adultery, ever. Not at all. Not because it flies against religious strictures but because I believe that you oughtn't betray the people you love.
I often wonder if the press invents this shit just to make people look bad because they're having an otherwise slow day in the newsroom (or perhaps for more nefarious reasons). I mean...I wasn't there. I haven't met the...er...lady. How do I know they didn't make that out of whole bleeding cloth and people aren't bothering to dignify it with a response? Good job, Press. I have a rant about this, but...never mind. Disappointing all around, I guess.
I think there are severalkinds of cheating on your marriage, from emotional cheating, to having two families. they are all the wrong thing to do, and if a public figure wants to be dispicable(sp?) they run the risk of the public knowing. It dosen't mean he isn't good at his job, it means he is a cheater.
