It's inevitable that I will buy all the Doctor Who box sets. Probably as soon as I have a good weekend at faire. Hell, probably as soon as I have A weekend at faire. I've been dithering, though, about which series to buy first. I probably like Series Two best at the moment, but then, Four made me cry/laugh/squeal a lot.

But I think the deciding factor is this: I have to get Series One, because how else will I insidiously get my friends hooked when they come over? One MUST start at the beginning. It's so much easier that way.

Got much done tonight with surlywench. There is, of course, much more to do. And I honestly don't feel any better about how much work is staring me in the face. Still, progress is progress. I'll be ready for opening weekend. So help me. I will have earned my BBC-born treat.

*nod* One is so vastly different from Nine and Ten, it's really interesting. :) I'm watching One at work during my lunch breaks, and Seven at home. I *adore* Seven. :)

I have all three boxed sets, but I actually started two of my SCA friends with The Shakespeare Code from three. Cause, you know, Shakespeare. :-)

NOW I start with collecting the Old Who. My DH is quite pleased, it makes gift buying almost effortless!

I think starting with Series One is a good idea - plus, you get Nine!Love! :)
