Critical Mass.
Jun. 5th, 2008 09:04 pmYeah. I've reached it. I'm having this heavy feeling in my chest, and my throat is so swollen-- ew-- food is catching when I try to swallow. I feel it through my tongue and into my ears. Yeah. Mess. LARGE mess.
So I called my doctor's office and left a message with the answering service. This is bad. Please help.
The problem, of course, remains that I don't know what I'm going to do about this weekend. I had two Wenches coming to help, but I don't know if they can run my booth alone. Worse comes to worst, I'll just have to call Jen MacDonald and explain why Nikki Can't Come Out To Play this weekend. Well, we'll see if I can get to my doctor, and what she says.

Come back to this comment when you feel better...
Date: 2008-06-06 05:36 am (UTC)I know this is totally inappropriate, but I immediately flashed on the song "Why Paddy's Not at Work Today" (http://www.songsforteaching.com/paddysicknote.htm ), a song my ex-husband filked (brilliantly I might add) as "Why Baldur's Not At War Today" (his cousin is Baldur Baldur's Bane in the SCA...the name should explain it all...when his wife got him a power stapler our friends accused her of having taken out a new life insurance policy). And I just started giggling...
Hope you feel better soon...
