No.. Really.. You don't want a doughnut.. It is FRIED Yuckness!

You want a Weight Watchers Chocolate Mousse freezer dessert. That is what you REALLY want. Or At least I do.. ;)

On TV the other night, Tony Bourdain(sp?) visited some voodoo bakery in the PNW - his favorite flavor? plain old yeast doughnut, shaped like a longjohn - rectangular, with maple frosting & BACON. mmmmm

I used to justify my chocolate doughnut & tea breakfast by consuming 4 prunes with it (...fiber, good for you, cancelled out the heavy fat & sugar content of the doughnut, right?) Had to stop that though, since my heart medication doesn't work as well with fiber. Weird, eh? Now I have to eat my doughnut with guilt on the side. ;)

I'm trying to find an old, healthy recipe for chocolate brownies using prune butter (which is really yummy stuff, no matter how it sounds). It makes the brownies moist, nutritious, & decadently rich - especially when baked in a cast iron skillet. Dang! Now I'm hungry. I'll need to go get a huge drink of water & a Hershey's Kiss. {{{hugs}}}
