It had nothing to do with "past the deadline." It was because I owed Carrie the balance of what she personally paid last year to get my permit from the county. Now, why Carrie didn't call me herself to say, "Hey, I'm not putting your money through til you pay me the balance," I don't know. I finally tracked her down this afternoon and she said, "Oh, hey. You pulling your hair out yet?" Ha ha. Very funny. WHY didn't you call earlier???

But it's all fine. She asked me if they could put someone on my platform for Green Fest, since I do Fairie Fest, and I said sure, if Papa Scott doesn't want to use it. So it may be the woman selling those funky silk skirts. I get jack out of the arrangement. Nothing but goodwill. But perhaps that's not insubstantial. Sigh. We also discussed having someone put my pond in this season so it'll look nice for faire.

I'm going to go collapse now. Understandably, I didn't get much sleep, and I'm a bit tired.

Eeegads...that's ridiculous. I'm surprised she left you hanging like that..its not like her.

I'm working with Carrie to try to get a spot in Swashbuckler this year...not sure if its going to happen or not, but we'll see...we're sick of the almost non-existent foot traffic we got in Avalon Hill last season, now that they've rerouted all but the kids entertainment away from the AValon Pavillion. Kids don't buy fine jewelry. :/
