Well I'll be there as will the girls and Peter. Harlan is going to be there. It is a lot of walking because it is on a college campus and the panels are in different buildings. It usual rains one of the days of ICon or snows on rare occasions. There is lots to do during the day then there are some functions at the host hotel in the evening but not a ton. I enjoy the heck out of it but then I go as an invited guest not as a patron so mine opinion might be skewed a bit.

It's a good con overall, if a little sprawled out (it takes up most of Stoneybrook's campus).

I remember the vendor's room as very good, though.

2006 Vending for us was a big UGH. We made very little compared to the costs. You might do better, one row over from us was competition that was seriously underpricing me tho.

Also, costs of transport killed us (Ferry fees with my trailer) on top of hotel and just general con costs.

Wasn't bad. But it wasn't good either. (And I didn't completely lose. Just didn't do well enough to warrant going back)

I think you'd be better off with that Comic-Con on May 3rd, and that other big event on June 28 if you're not at Celtic Fling.

Big damned show.the vendors take over the fieldhouse (where they play the basketball games at the college) Great exposure near NYC. We've done it for literally years. We did it before Faire even. Hope to see you there if there is still space.
