It's nine minutes from my apartment to the diner. I had that long to listen to BBC News. Two things that'll stay with me:

Danca Voluminosa. A Cuban dance company of obese dancers.

The BBC carries coverage of the Superbowl. Utterly alien to hear a Brit shouting out the final minutes of the game.

Cheers on Regent Street was hosting a Superbowl viewing event. 15 GBP for the night (although I have no idea what that included). Struck me as a bit odd, Brits not being notoriously big American football fans. However, if I'd still been in London on Sunday night, I think I would have gone!!!
