The season opens on 23 April. But on 10 May, they begin my favourite play: "A Midsummer Night's Dream." I thought for a while about going twice-- how often will I ever have a free place to stay and a dear friend over there?-- or just pushing my trip back. I was worried, though, that the later I got, the more expensive it'd be to fly. Turns out it's really only a difference of $100 if I go in May as opposed to March. Of course, we're still talking seven hundred freakin' dollars. But I won't be spending anything on hotels.

This is, of course, IF I can come close to affording it at all. Right now, ha. Insert hysterical laughter here. But later.... And honestly? Seeing this play in London? In The Globe? I'd do almost anything. I swear. I just hope it's done in period style.

I'm all but swooning at the thought. The literary/artistic neurons in my brain are drooling. I may just have to do this.

let us ever so *briefly* review: if the two of us went to london together, i would want to MOVE IN AND NOT GO HOME. also, we'd get into faaaar too much trouble at museums. and other places. like...everywhere.

Um...so?

Isn't that the point? I make sure you get on the plane to get there, we BOTH make sure we get on the plane to come home.

Okay, so we make Todd make sure we get on the plane to come home.

To actually see a play there would be amazing! I say go for it! I had a chance to study Shakespearean theatre at Oxford and didn't because I didn't have the money and regret it to this day. It still makes me sad.

AUGH!

Hey, it's never to late to go visit, you know. Or apply for an internship. Or something!
