Last night, I had about, oh, two or three bodies over maximum density in my apartment. Four of them under the age of fifteen. We watched movies, ate junk, and played Apples to Apples. I gotta say, it was probably one of the best New Year's Eves I've ever had. SO relaxed, so goofy-- and the kids had fun. And in further good news? Phee's stopped smoking! I noticed she smelled better the instant she walked in. And Michael said he had three cloves left, and then he'd be done, too. I'm SO happy! And I got a slinky picture from a cute young man. Not bad.

My advice for the new year? Light candles. Smudge everything. Vote Democrat.

Sounds like a plan to me...although, I'm not convinced that voting Democrat will even make a difference any more. We'll see what the next few months bring.

I love that game. Bink, Dan, Ben and I hung out. I was road-weary (11 hour drive from Nashville starting at 12:30 the night before) or I'd have suggested we drop in on you. The thought actually did cross my mind, I swear - "It'd be fun to trek to Philly and see Nikki... oh wait... no, I think I'm all full-up on car time for the day. Bummer."
