A little more optimism.

I'm slightly nervous about meeting with Christen, my trainer, tomorrow. Considering the schlep up to my booth from the back gate make me feel like I've just trekked the Sahara, an hour's workout should come thisclose to outright killing me.

However, the glorious surlywench and her gorgeous wenchlette just left, after delivering not one but two corset blanks: a pink lily, and a pirate map. In return, I gave her silk and patterns for a half-dozen more corsets: mostly small, as I've sold completely out of them. SO nothing is perfect, but by G-d, I shall overcome.

And best of all, the weather this weekend is supposed to-- as of now-- be 70 for both days. Saturday morning, with pikachette's memorial, will be difficult enough without having to worry about the weather. Speaking of which, if you have a good photo of her, could you post it or mail it to me? Carrie's going to put a notice in the newsletter this week, and I thought a visual aid would be helpful. We have the rose, and the arbor, and the piper-- all I need now is the assurance I won't completely lose my shit.
