Work, work, work....

More blood tests today. Woo. I discovered that part of the reason it hurt so little is that the nurse used a pediatric needle. There was no enormous ow as she pulled it out this time, and so far, no new bruising. I also got a scrip for a pelvic ultrasound in addition to the abdominal, so I can see what's up with my recalcitrant ovaries. Huzzah for progress.

I just hope, though, that I can get the time off work to attend to all these tests. Bless her, mirroreyes came over on Monday, and was a whirling dervish with the scissors. I have almost everything sewn into its respective pieces for step one, but much more is required. Still, it puts me in excellent shape for faire.

Oh, and while Bill and I were discussing the worst possible day for Summer Youth Day, I realised I didn't actually know when it was. Sure enough, it's the one day I absolutely can't be there. Crap. I wrote to Carrie-- we'll see what she says.

Also, summer youth days are a drag it's true but if you can get someone to watch the shop you need to think about what you would offer. I mean kids are great shoppers for garments, but um... maybe bags? Or hats? That way you have product and them someone to mind the shop?

easy huh... interesting. I like the sleeves. I'm thinking a gown gown might be nice? I dunno I'm in no rush and am more then willing to see it and talk it out with you.

i was boothsitting for the Spoutwood booth last weekend at the GGAF and was looking for your shop. didnt see it anywhere, wasnt sure if you have a sign or what. anyhow, it was fun to be at the faire again, ive only been there once before for a celtic fling. makes me wish for a permanently structured fairie festival :)
