ysobelleI'm getting pretty damned sick of posting horrible things happening to my Local.
If you've been watching the news, you might have heard of a plane crash in Florida-- small plane going down and hitting two houses in Sanford, outside of Orlando. One of the victims was a four-year-old girl, who died in the house. Her ten-year-old brother was burned over 95% of his body-- and this is jet fuel, remember, which burns viciously hot-- and their parents were both severely burned. The father of this family is brother to one of our own, Marion Blackwell, who lives in Potomac, MD, but considers herself Local 9.
She's absolutely beside herself. She has no other family living near her, her nephew's now in a children's burn unit in Cincinnati, her brother and sister-in-law as in Florida hospitals, and she has no idea what to do or where to go. She called me this morning and begged me to put the word out and ask you all to pray for her family.
Also, if anyone's near Potomac, and might be willing to look in on her-- she also has a hedgehog rescue and thus a house full of adorableness-- I know she'd appreciate it-- and so would I.
