Best. Job. In. The. World.

I am so fervently, pathetically grateful. Thank you to Erin, Rob, Will, Athena, Audrey, Allie, and, of course, Heather. Thank you to Lisa, John, James, Bree, Bill, and most fantastically to Craig and Angela. Thank you to Shawn, Kate, Mike, Angela, and all of Angela's crew. Thanks to Bev and Amy and Neil. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, lifted a hammer or a hanger, a corset or a nail gun. Thank you to everyone who came by to chat, to schmooze, to sit, to cheer, to set up, to break down, to talk up my corsets, to pat me on the back, or just hand me Pepsi when I looked crazed.

Tragically, though, it wasn't a good weekend for everyone. This was one of our concession girls: http://local.lancasteronline.com/4/206053 . This was much of our crowd: http://local.lancasteronline.com/4/206025

It felt a bit like the breaking of the glass at a wedding: even in great joy, we remember great sorrow. I swear I'll never take any of this for granted.

More when I'm slightly more coherent, and it isn't 2.30am.

Wow....that turnpike accident happened 45mins after I got off. Can I say I am soooooo sooooo glad to have stayed in the left hand lane and wormed my way in at the ramp? Gah. I feel sorry for those people. ALL of them.

I had a great time on Saturday. My boobs are burned. it was great seeing people and hearing the music. That place was PACKED! *hugs* Rest now!

It was a pleasure helping in any way possible. I'm so proud of you! And the deck. Just all of it, fantastic. Those were some pretty unluck accidents though. Always good to sit back take stock and say, nope it's not so bad even when X happens.

Glad you are okay, even if others aren't (God Keep them.) I am glad I always take 72 to 222 to 272. No traffic, just a buggy or two. :)

THRILLED to see your deck, and can't wait to see how wonderful you're going to be this summer.

Love you Muchly.

sometimes its easier to realize how wonderful we have it and how great things are around us in constrast to such sadness. Its a testament to the faire crowd though, the way we all came together.

Opperations end of Celtic SUCKED the whole way through, but as long as everyone had a good time and mostly didnt notice, I guess we did our job well.

Not sorry we missed that traffic/accident, though.

Your booth looked lovely, and every time I was about to stop by and visit I noted everybody was busy, busy, busy! I took a photo or two of it, if they're any good I'll pass them along if you need 'em for your website!

Way to live your dream, chica.

I was so impressed with the work you and your friends did on that booth, babe. Its MAHVELOUS!

I remember hearing the sirens on Saturday but thought someone had passed out from the heat or something. REading that article makes my blood go cold. I can't tell you how many times I've come up later (before I had my own booth) and sat in that line waiting to get off the exit. Ugh..I'm glad I get there early when there's no traffic.
