Ghost Hunters has spoiled me. Some dorky investigators on "Into The Unknown" are featured using dowsing rods to investigate an old jail in Florida. As they ask if there are any spirits present, the answer comes back over their walkie talkies! TWICE! Well, yeah. That'll happen if someone else is on your damned channel! I mean, Jesus, even I can hear the "boop" sounds a CB makes when someone else signs off. Oooo, those truckers! Scary!

As for the Wench Board, I'm actually sad that so many of you have left. It's been much calmer the last few years, and I tend to ignore the more vacant posts anyway. I don't look at it to change my life, but I do like the interaction there. Most of the interaction. (Someone today, in a reaction against a bill partly sponsored by Ted Kennedy, said Lee Harvey Oswald and Sirhan Sirhan shot the wrong Kennedys. That was nasty.) But for the most part, I have a good time. I like the exchange of occasionally good information.

And okay...yes, sometimes it DOES change my life. I wouldn't know most of YOU without it.

Yeah, I know. I didn't make too much of an issue of it, but ow. The Kennedy assassinations were some of the worst things to happen to us as a nation. They really changed the way we look at our Presidents and politicians. It was a harsh coming-of-age for contemporary America.

Not to mention a horror for their families and loved ones. And anyone who witnessed the murders. They may not have been saints, but they were much-loved, powerful, and idealistic young men. Who knows what they could have gone on to do?

You were in my dream last night. :D

You had asked me to help you for the first day of Faire, and I was trying to head up to PARF, only for some reason I was freaking out over the traffic, and worried I wouldn't get there on time because of the traffic in New Jersey. Weird.

I remember freaking out because none of my garb matched and you saying, just find a skirt and top, and something for your head, and we'll stick you in a corset when you get there.

...........things that make you go, Hrm.
