I'm painting happy stars and rainbows to distract myself from how much this is going to cost me, and how I'll be eating ramen for the rest of the year....

If Papa Scott can indeed pay me a good chunk of his rent for this year, I'll buy the trusses for his booth, and have it roofed for THIS season instead of next. It also occured to me there'll be an 8'x20' open area behind his booth, and I intend to turn it onto a storage/hangout area. At some point, I'll try for an awning, but that's not happening yet. I'll have a place for my roses, I also realise. Maybe somewhere to put solar panels for the deep-cell battery.

My tent will also have space behind it this year, as it's only 12' deep, and the platform is 20'. I think we're going square dancing back there.

But the first person who drops a cigarette butt anywhere on my area gets to pick it up with their ass. I'm so not kidding. And I'm so gonna enjoy enforcing that. Squee!

Em, am I getting you this season? (Big eyes) Surlz, you? (Batbatbat) G-d. The two of you in one booth? AND Athena? Will doesn't stand a chance.

While I'm at it, uh...who's working at Fairie Fest for me?

when and where is FF? and the faire thing may be one day per wkend or everyother or something like that. who's will? where are we keeping the wetbar? and the fireplace? also, where *did* we put all those himbos? anyway...what was i....?? oh, yes, lemme know the whatzits on FF when i come down on thurs :) i'll be down early....heh xP

Here's an idea on the cigarette butt front;
get a small tin bucket and a shepard's crook from HD or Lowe's and put it out at the edge of the path. That way there is someplace to put them and encourages smokers to put them out before they enter the shop.
