Finally ready to send the preliminary booth plans to the structural engineer. He says it'll be two weeks at least to do them. Then I have to file with Manheim.

I need a flat surface to bang my head against....

I toyed with the idea of putting up a temp platform this year, but I just couldn't swing it, money wise. So I went and bought a real tent and figured maybe I'll build next year, if its a good year.

I just couldn't take the uneven ground any more. I LOVE that spot, but that sloping gravel shit HURT by the end of the day. I have plans for the whole structure, but this year, it's just going to be a platform, I think. Are you staying up on Avalon Hill?

Yeah, I like that spot...its shady and there's good traffic. I like the people up there too...I'm hoping this will be a better year, financially. Can't get much worse. ;)

the plan is that i move in july come hell or high water. i realize that it'll be last minute, but if you need *anything* with help to get the booth ready still, i'm yours okay? seriously. i can't sew to save my life, but i can hammer and paint with the best of them!

Really? Honest? On, man, that ROCKS! Look, if you still need work, I can't pay a lot, but I'll probably need piecework with my sewing. You CAN sew. And I need cutting and pinning and organising as much as anything else, like leah's been helping me with. And I know we work well together already (as long as certain people aren't involved-- snicker).

I'm hoping the platform is done and ready to go by July. Actually, it HAS to be, or PARF and Papa Scott will kill me.
