I just spent my first money in Second Life.

I feel the edge of a teetering precipice at my feet.

Chris said he was making some nice money for awhile when he was playing a lot. Extra $50 a month or so....

Second Life Is A Scam And A Trap

I find Second Life to be escapism of the worst kind, and a sickening waste of resources and energy.

Wow, surprise! In Second Life, everyone wants to be a hottie, and own a Frank Lloyd Wright-style house on a seaside cliff. I honestly don't understand - even as a software developer, "nerd", and general technophile - why people invest so much time, effort, and even real money, in such things.

Present company excepted, of course. ;-)

And it could very well be that I just don't "get it" - as with so many things.
