Rapunzel, Rapunzel....
Sep. 27th, 2006 12:14 amThe experiment in acrylics abandoned, I went back to something I KNOW I can do-- watercolours. It's not the best I've ever done, but I like it. It does what I want. It's actually watercolour, pencil, and acrylic. I'll have to go back to Michael's for something with which to seal it, but that's okay.
I got a lot less accomplished today than I wanted to, but this, at least, makes me feel good.

Date: 2006-09-28 12:47 pm (UTC)is there a way you could paint in in water colors, find your outlines for everything and then transfer the outline to the leather and paint it in the acrylics?
I think it would really look best painted on the leather....
I like the applique idea too....it'd be cool if you could use different colored leathers to do that. I have tons of appholstery leather (yah I know my spelling is terrible) anyway - I have tons of leather scraps...many colors.....
leme know.
