It's NOT like a damned bicycle.
Sep. 26th, 2006 11:38 pmI SUCK with acrylics. I always have. The only time I didn't was a piece in grad school, copying a Waterhouse. And I was in practise then, I spent HOURS on it, if not days, and I was at the top of my artistic game. Fuck all.
Hm. Wait.
What if I did this on watercolour paper, THEN backed it with the leather? Didn't paint on the leather at all?
Hm.
Cos acrylics are just...they're making me mad. I'm used to wet paints. I'm used to watercolour. My hands don't work well with this solid paint crap. That and the leather sucks all the moisture out of the pain in an instant. Hm. Okay. How do I bond watercolour paper to leather? Spray adhesive?
Back to the kitchen.
