This pretty silk darling-- the corset and skirt, not Eav-- was sold ninety minutes after I put it out to a faire worker and friend who'll be wearing it to her prom. I'm pretty sure no one else in the room will have anything like it.

Once again, I'm pretty down with the Universe.

Do you know Betty from Emporer's Needle? She's a leatherworker herself, and she'd be able to tell you what to bring or not bring to PARF. Pitch your bodices and applique work rather than your pouches, I think. We seem to have four or five leatherworkers who do the pouch/mug strap/skirtchaser thing, and it might be an issue. No, I KNOW it's an issue. Pitch PARF your more unique stuff-- which is flippin' gorgeous-- and they'll smile more.


And yeah, I feel like I'm really starting to get a handle on how to make this work as a true business-- new designs, where to branch out, what other events and such to do, etc. Sure took me long enough.

The pouch work is pretty much gravy anyway. Kinda a quick buck to keep people interested when they don't want to spend the money for the nicer stuff.

I wouldn't need it at PARF, even tho it'd be nice to have. However, my main 2 pouches are unique enough to stand on their own regardless.

I'm starting to branch out, I'll probably finish my descent into madness tomorrow or Wednesday and I'll show you pictures. :-D
