Chugging along
Sep. 13th, 2006 01:57 amI got a lot more done tonight than I thought I would. Shawn, don't tell Angela, but I adjusted her pattern and then cut her entire corset. With luck, I can get it done this weekend. I owe a lot of people money next week.
Which reminds me-- Amy, did you ever send me that check?
Cupcake's has to be done this week. Stephanie's, too. And there's something else I'm forgetting.... Oh! The tartan silk I bought. Sure. No problem. Thank G-d it's only Tuesday. Despite it technically being Wednesday.

Date: 2006-09-13 07:28 am (UTC)I'm currently working on piecing together a tribal bellydance costume (don't even ask what the total on THAT is going to be...), but after that...I'm hoping I can put in an order with you sometime soon after Christmas. (Because that's when I'll have money from the relatives, lol.)
Your corsets are so unique and beautiful--I just have to have one!

Date: 2006-09-13 04:52 pm (UTC)10% off sounds just fine to me...and payments are great. In fact, that's what I currently doing with my tribal bra/belt/vest/domboli from Domba. The costume's going to look something like this (but with blue as the main color):

The domboli (the velvet top) will be an optional item to wear with the costume, for days I don't feel like having my tummy hanging out, or when it actually gets cool in Arizona (which is maybe 3 days a year...)
I'll be ordering a skirt and harem pants from Flying Skirts in San Francisco, and as my wallet allows, a bunch of hair stuff, including a set of dread falls, cowrie shells tassels, etc. I'm always amazed at all the stuff the tribal girls in the Bellydance Superstars manage to get into their hair, and will be lucky if I can manage to pack half that into mine!
This piece is especially neat:
