My nephew was one week old yesterday.
He spent that milestone back in the hospital, where he may very well spent tonight, as well. He has a slight heart murmur, which his parents knew about, and expect to go away-- but it hasn't, yet. He's also dehydrated, slightly jaundiced, and his breathing is still too fast and shallow. My Mom is completely frazzled. Susan and Ken are overtense and staying at the hospital with David. Little Sarah knows something is wrong, but doesn't know what.
Not exactly how we planned all this.
