I have a few very good ideas. Mmm. Polar bears. Everyone loves polar bears, right? Though I don't know how I'd fit in the Trolless with a nose three ells long.



Wow. You know, this is the ultimate synthesis of all my schooling. I went to college and got a degree partly in children's lit and folklore, and in grad school I studied costuming. If I could make the corsets sing and dance, I'd be completely covered!

Wet-painting onto silk, then sprinkling it with salt. It's a technique I've wanted to try for a while, now.

I can see adding bits of coral and netting and such. Maybe the keel of a ship, seen from below. All dark at the bottom, to sunlight up at the top. With a hand reaching up the stomacher and a tail on the back....
