ysobelleAunt Grace is still in the hospital. They're moving her, and they're going to try new medication for her seizures and depression. The good news is they think this is all reversible. The bad news is no one knows how long this is going to last, or what, exactly, it's going to take to get her out of it. Physically, she's in pretty good shape for a 75-year-old woman. Good.
(As for me, the cold I started working on last night is still kicking my ass. Woo. I was feverish this morning, but I think I'm better now. Still, I've already called out for tomorrow, just in case.)
The problem, of course, is that I was going to have the Second-Night Seder at Aunt Grace's place. I think, however, she'd have to reserve the room herself, and that's the absolute LAST thing she needs to think about right now. So I'm open to suggestions if anyone has a place to have dinner for, say, a dozen people. Also, if you're still interested, let me know-- I have to start figuring out the menu in the next few days, and I'd love to know who'd like to make what.
The birthday surprise apparently went over quite well. I should say, however, that I got a call today that came with a harsh dose of reality that stopped my heart for a moment. What am I doing? What am I doing?
I haven't been to Curves since Monday. It seems being able to breathe would be a prerequisite for working out, silly me.
Boys really are dumb. Throw rocks at them.
