Last night's Daily Show was pretty epic. I'm not unaware that Jon Stewart makes more money than I'll ever see in my life, but I really don't mind him speaking as my Everyman, and taking on demons on my behalf. It's what he does best, and last night was a SPECTACULAR example. So please, have a look:

Apropos of nothing....

I don't know why I suddenly feel compelled to state this, but just so you all know: Shirley Temple, precocious child star, is still alive.

I suppose I thought she must have died ages ago, but no. Shirley Temple Black is 80 years old and doing quite well. As recently at 1992, she was U.S. Ambassador to Czechoslovakia. You go, girl.
